We must evangelize because the Lord Jesus commanded us to do so. He gave the Church the unending task of evangelizing as a restless power, to stir and to stimulate all its actions until all nations have heard his Good News and until every person has become his disciple. (Excerpt from Go and Make Disciples: A National Plan and Strategy for Catholic Evangelization in the United States.)

Lay people also fulfill their prophetic mission by evangelization, “that is, the proclamation of Christ by word and the testimony of life.” For lay people, “this evangelization . . . acquires a specific property and peculiar efficacy because it is accomplished in the ordinary circumstances of the world.”440

«This witness of life, however, is not the sole element in the apostolate; the true apostle is on the lookout for occasions of announcing Christ by word, either to unbelievers . . . or to the faithful.441

Our group goes door to door every Saturday morning at 9:00am inviting people to know our faith and participate in the Sacraments. We also encourage fallen away Catholics to return to the church, letting them know of the importance of the mass and the Eucharist.

We meet as a group every Wednesday at 7:00pm under the shelter behind the parking lot. If you want more information or would like to participate in this very important ministry please call Roguel at (661) 869-7625
